tagging your items

1. use the online sign up on this website to sign up to consign (write down your consignor number, you will need it for the next step)
2. log on to www.myjbftags.com
3. create an account (or login using your username and password)
4. enter and print your tags
5. track your sales online
   

NOTE:  Print your tags on white colored cardstock only.  4 tags will print per page.

If you change any information on your tag, a new tag must be made.  We will not accept any handwritten, white out, or taped changes on the tag.  At drop-off inspection, any inconsistencies will need to be redone by you!

important clothing prep information

Clothes must be hung on appropriately sized hangers with the hook pointing to the left and the tag on the right shoulder if you are facing it.  (Make a question mark with the hanger.)  All hangers will be included with the items when the items are sold.

We will be accepting fall and winter children's and maternity clothing for this sale.  Please inspect your items carefully at home - we will also inspect them at drop-off.  Clothes that are soiled, stained or with holes, will not be accepted.  Click here for acceptable items.

pricing

You set the price!  Price to sell keeping in mind the quality, name brand and condition of your items.  Just Between Friends suggests pricing items between 30%-40% of what you paid for that item new.  We also suggest that you let your clothing items be included in the half price sale - but that is your decision!  Price your items in $1.00 or $0.50 increments.  No $0.99 or other increments, please.

$3.00 rule

If your single, hanging clothing item can't bring $3.00 on it's own, please pair it with something that will bring it to this amount.  This only applies to clothing, not toys/equipment.  Just Between Friends will be conducting strict inspection of your items.  Unacceptable items will be returned to you, or we can donate them for you.

hanging policy

Use only one inch or larger safety pins to attach tags.  No straight pins.  Attach safety pins side-to-side (vertically) on the tag.  Pin clothing sets securely together with pants hung on the backside of the shirt and pinned at the waist on the hanger.  Both pieces can be viewed without unpinning them.  Pants hung on a separate hanger tend to come off the hanger and then get separated from the top.

If you want to secure your tag on the clothing item to help prevent items from being lost or switched, simply place the pin vertically on the card, then put a clear piece of tape over the pin.  We highly suggest you take this extra step.

Spending a little extra time getting your items ready will mean more $$$ for you.  Items that are cleaned and ironed, with all pieces attached, and loose threads clipped, sell much better!
