Q. How often do you hold a JBF event?
A. We have them twice a year.
Q. Are children allowed on opening day?
A. Yes, although it can be very crowded and the line to the check out can take a while.
Q. Do you have dressing rooms?
A. We do not have any dressing rooms available. So we suggest you bring your children's measurements with you as all sales are final.
Q. Who can sign up to be a consigor and sell their items?
A. Anyone can consign with JBF. We just ask that you have a minimum of 20 items or $100 worth of merchandise.
Q. Who sets the price on my items?
A. You get to set the price for what your items are sold for. We suggest pricing items between 30%-40% of what you would pay for that item new.
Q. How long should I give myself to drop off items?
A. We have a check in process that will typically take about 30 minutes to drop off your items. We do inspect every item that you bring and then you place them in the designated areas in the store.
Q. When do I pick up my unsold items?
A. Unsold items will be available for pick up one hour after the sale ends. If you cannot pick up your items, you will need to make arrangements to have someone else pick them up. We do check ID's at pick up so if someone else is picking up your items, you will need to let us know at check in.
Q. How long does it take to receive my check?
A. Your check is mailed two weeks after the sale ends.
Q. Will I know what items have sold?
A. Yes, because of the computer Point of Sale system we use, you will be able to log in the day after the sale ends to see what has sold.
Q. Do I have to have my items on hangers?
A. Yes, try to put 2T-4T items on child size hangers. Size 5 and up can go on regular hangers.
Q. If I consign, do I have to stay during the sale?
A. No, that is the best part. You are free to enjoy the weekend.
Q. What items can I sell?
A. We accept infant, children and maternity clothing. We also accept toys, books, videos, DVD, strollers, baby equipment, nursery items, large play equipment, changing tables, etc.
Q. What about shoes?
A. Yes, please only bring shoes that are in like-new condition.
Q. What about stuffed animals?
A. Yes, only if they are NEW with tags.
